I recently created these cookies for a friend’s birthday party (the same one I brought my homemade-caramel-topped cupcakes to).

Now, these are far from perfect, and I clearly have some practicing to do, but I’m darn proud of these for a couple reasons: 1. These were done completely free-hand, and 2. these were done in about 5 hours…in a row…thanks to the use of a fan

Since I’m just getting started in the wonderful world of blogging, I have several posts I want to make, I can’t possibly have an organized schedule of posting yet…not possible…not gonna happen. Have you ever stumbled across something and immediately become almost obsessed with it? I did…

A few months ago I decided I wanted to make some fun decorated cookies for Halloween, so I started searching Pinterest to see what I could find.  After a few hours I decided I must start making cookies!  I found so many blogs by some extremely talented women, and I became completely inspired by them.  I’ve been making cakes for a few years now; cookies just seemed like the next logical step.  These are some I’ve done so far.
